We all want to be well and to live good lives - this is part of what makes us human. But what does it mean to really flourish?
According to Harvard's Human Flourishing report, human flourishing means, "a state in which all aspects of a person’s life are good, including the contexts in which that person lives."
At International Literacy and Development, we promote human flourishing through literacy and development in under-resourced communities. But we recognize that there are many elements that can, and do, impact flourishing.
This newsletter seeks to highlight some of the factors that are impacting human flourishing around the world today, and includes conversations surrounding flourishing from experts in various industries and disciplines.
Join us as we explore flourishing each week with Five Thoughts on Flourishing.
